Human Resources 101

The Economic Research Institute offers 52 free courses in a variety of H.R. categories. If you want to receive formal credit for any of the courses, you can pay a $29.00 fee and write a final exam.

All Distance Learning Center online courses are approved by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) for continuing education PHR, GPHR, and SPHR recertification credit. Each online course takes approximately 1 hour to complete and is worth 1 PHR, GPHR, and SPHR recertification credit. After you have completed an online course, print your completion certificate (available once you have passed the final exam and completed the online course evaluation). Then submit this certificate to HRCI to earn your continuing education PHR, GPHR, or SPHR recertification credit.
