Lynda Ford has compiled a list of behavior-based interview questions. It is not a comprehinsive list of characteristics, but should provide some ideas for developing other questions.
The list is organized into the following categories:

- Initiative and Follow-through
- Thinking and Problem Solving
- Communication
- Working Effectively with Others
- Work Quality
- Creativity and Innovation
- Priority Setting
- Decision Making
- Ability to Work in Varying Work Conditions (stress, changing deadlines, etc.)
- Delegation
- Customer Service
