What Everybody in HR Ought to Know About Blogs

May 2nd, 2007 · 1 Comment

Unless you’ve been living in a cave in the woods, you’ve heard of blogs and blogging. Increasingly, blogs are becoming a valuable tool for collaboration, communication and learning.

Many in the H.R. community have recognized the benefits of blogging. Frank Roche, at KnowHR Blog, has written a couple of posts explaining how to start mining the wealth of H.R. information available in blogs.

To give you some idea of blog growth: in the first of those posts, dated April 13th, Frank links to a search at (blog tracking service) for blogs about Human Resources. The search returned 709 blogs. That same search today, three weeks later, returns 1,065 blogs about Human Resources.

Want to start your private office arms race right now?

I just got my own USB rocket launcher :-) Awsome thing.

Plug into your computer and you got a remote controlled office missile launcher with 360 degrees horizontal and 45 degree vertival rotation with a range of more than 6 meters - which gives you a coverage of 113 square meters round your workplace.
You can get the gadget here: http://tinyurl.com/2qul3c

Check out the video they have on the page.

    Cheers
