		<description>I hate workplace conflict, and I think the worst kind is conflict that isn&#039;t out in the open yet. I have worked in organizations where conflict never reaches the surface, but people tip-toe around in meetings, and make an effort to avoid certain people in the halls, and it absolutely zaps organizational productivity. It&#039;s so much better to have open communication and to discuss/solve conflicts.
My current organization actually did a study last year that found you could channel conflict to improve innovation, productivity, etc.  It&#039;s a really interesting read, and explores how conflict effects the workplace world-wide.
